On Saturday night Brian won the LLS (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) Man of the Year! To achieve that distinction, he raised almost $50,000 for the society!! What an amazing achievement... and here I stress about trying to raise $2,000!!! I had to miss the big gala on Saturday where they announced the winner because my family was in town visiting for Mother's Day but I saw the pictures and everyone looked gorgeous in their black tie attire!
This weekend was super busy... I ran my longest run (10 miles) on Saturday in Mill Valley and then spent the rest of the weekend with my parents and brother (who made a "surprise" visit). I'll post more on the weekend later once I've gotten the pictures off my camera!
