How rude!

Last night the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society staff organized a TNT alumni get together at Joe's in Lafayette. After running some errands (one of which included getting some new glasses... can you say expensive?!) I stopped by to hang out with some former TNTer's. There weren't a ton of people there, but we all managed to have a really good time. Joe's is a cute place, and they have a lot of live music during the week. (They also have a happy hour with some great food and drink prices... they even have LUMPIA!!!) Wednesday night is "Doo Wop" night and there was a band with three male vocalists. Man, they were good! They were incredible singers, and really worked the (small) crowd! Since there weren't a ton of people there, they spent a lot of time with us in the back-- they even let us sing into the mics a little. During one song that we were all singing along too, one of the singers who was standing next to me said, "Wow, you have a really low voice." Great, that's exactly what a girl wants to hear! :(
